ABOUT US

24x7 Care Foundation is a prominent non-profit and self-aided organization working with Delhi Police for senior citizens from last five years. It is registered under Societies’ Registration Act 1860. We are glad to announce that we are taking care of around 20 thousand senior citizens in 6 districts of Delhi. We are facilitating them with emergency services, 24x7 helpline number, health talks, health camps, legal aid and advice, household assistance, technology assistance, entertainment programs, birthday celebrations and engaging activities. Self help groups among senior citizens is way different idea introduced by our organization.

Our organization aims for holistic development of senior citizens and empower them to help themselves.

Aging doesn’t ask for privileges before hitting. There is always a sense of detachment and loneliness among elderly people due to generation gap with their children and grandchildren. This is an issue carpeted by our society since ages but we are here to become a bridge between generations and create empathy and understanding of old-age in our young generation.

There are around 728 old-age homes in India and our senior citizens are still looking for warmness of their home. We need to stop and think what is missing. We have provided them a roof to live, food to eat and clothes to wear undoubtedly, these are the things we can’t survive without, but is SURVIVG is what LIVING? Maybe this is the time to do necessary amendments in our approach of welfare too. We need to focus on dignity, love, protection and happiness. We need to include them in society instead of making a separate world for them.

According to census 2011 there are 104 million elderly which is estimated to increase 32.37 to 42.84 million in the duration of 2011-2021. With such a large no. of population in need we must look forward to deal with their issues in an innovative way.

All donations to 24x7 Care Foundation are eligible for 50% tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

OUR BELIEF

We believe that senior citizens are the “roots” of this flourishing and developing society. Without root a tree can never grow similarly, we can’t imagine our society to develop without making senior citizens an integral part of it. Aging doesn’t discriminate between rich and poor, it hits equally to all. Consequently, we have opened our arms for each and every section of society. In a democratic country like India each and every person has the right to live with dignity and we are here to become voice of our “cornerstones”.

PURPOSE

Our purpose is to increase integration and participation among senior citizens:

OUR MISSION

JOURNEY SO FAR

24×7 Care Foundation was established by Mr. Ashish Garg (President) in 2015. This initiate was started by the thought of watching own parents growing older. The fear of old-age and challenges became the driving force to create a society with collective effort where nobody fears this stage of life. Organization started its presence with Rohini district and currently, we are active in 6 districts of Delhi spreading our love and warmness to 20 thousand senior citizens.

Few of the initiatives taken by the organization includes:

Working with 24×7 has been a very revealing and enriching experience. I realized that there are many small things that can be done to contribute to child rights. Yes, what is needed is a bit of sensitivity and willingness to do something worthwhile.

Children should be given proper time & nourishment to develop. I see a different world where people from all walks of life, people from different locations come & work together for a better tomorrow.

Solving these problems engenders equality; and an equal world is what I strive for. 24×7 helps me do this. 24×7 believes in giving children their rights. I want to change the life of 1 child at a time; 1 problem at a time; 1 region at a time.
