A LOOK INTO THE GROUNDWORK

  • We have utilized the senior citizen card data we collected from Delhi Police and joined over 20 thousand senior citizens into SELF HELP GROUPS. The idea behind self-help group is to empower them so that they can acknowledge and deal their issues better.
  • We are connected with our senior citizens 24x7 through regular callings. To make them feel like a family and show our warmness we wish them personally on their birthdays and important occasions.
  • COVID has impacted the lives of senior citizens the most. It has forced them to live in possible isolation as they are prone to virus infection. But 24x7 care foundation has never left their hands, even in the pandemic we have continued to bring health webinars by renowned hospitals and specialized doctors for them and this time right at their homes through online platforms.
  • Modern world is turning digital but we need to acknowledge the fact that Its difficult for our senior citizens to cope with this new environment, therefore we keep on motivating them in order to make them smarter , wiser and familiar to digital world.
  • We have an expert legal team of advocates which is providing free legal advice as per their requirement and also assisting them with pending issues related to their concerned districts.
  • We keep our senior citizens updated on new laws , Maintenance Act , Cybercrime and general social issues in order to prevent them from vulnerability of crimes and fraudulent.
  • With deteriorating physical health, they are exposed to mental health issues too. Fear of death, anxiety and dependency make them negative and low. Here, we come with counselling sessions, fun activities, games and entertainment programs for them.
  • We are facilitating our elderly persons with free door -to -door medicine and grocery services. We have created a system where senior citizens are free to contact us 24 hours and we are proud to say that we are working as a linking chain between our police warriors and senior citizens.
  • During Covid-19 our organization has started 2 kitchens for distributing food amongst people in need. With the help of Delhi Police and Sub Divisional Magistrate we successfully distributed 10 thousand food packets per day .
  • We are working to find out some unheard stories from under- privileged section of senior citizens in order to bring focus of society towards old age crises.
